7 year old pediatric brain cancer survivor, Jack Hoffman just wanted to run down the football field with his new friends from the Nebraska Cornhusker’s football team. What he didn’t realize was that he would make national news with his 69 yard touchdown run AND his inspirational run would become the winning nominee for the ESPYS’ “Best Sports Moment” award at the 2013 award ceremony in Los Angeles. Jack thanked all of his supporters, “I am glad that you are all now on Team Jack and I know with you we can’t lose.” Jack’s knows that with the backing from sports fans around the country, defeating brain cancer by funding targeted scientific research to find new treatments and a cure is a real possibility! Congrats Jack on helping shine the spotlight on this orphan disease!
